Cebu-based snack manufacturer Prifood Corporation has partnered with COREnergy, a leading retail electricity supplier (RES) in the Philippines, to supply power to its manufacturing facilities in Cebu as it strengthens operational efficiency and supports continued growth.
Under the agreement, COREnergy will cover Prifood’s plants in Tingub, Mandaue City, with a combined aggregate demand of up to 750 kW. By consolidating demand across sites, Prifood aims to improve purchasing leverage and take a more proactive approach to managing electricity consumption.
The partnership also positions Prifood among the earliest businessesearly food manufacturers in the Visayas to work with a retail electricity supplier under the Retail Aggregation Program (RAP), which allows eligible customers to pool demand to access more competitive rates and tailored services.
