DEDON Adopts COREnergy’s Sunshine Plan for its Cebu Manufacturing Operations

‍

Global luxury outdoor furniture brand DEDON Manufacturing Inc. has partnered with COREnergy, a leading retail electricity supplier in the Philippines, becoming the first customer to adopt COREnergy’s Sunshine Plan.

Under a two-year retail electricity supply agreement, COREnergy will provide 0.55 megawatts of contracted capacity to DEDON’s Cebu manufacturing operations.

The Sunshine Plan is designed for businesses with significant daytime electricity demand, combining stable daytime rates backed predominantly by solar generation with variable Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) pricing during non-solar hours.

For DEDON, whose production activities are largely concentrated during the day, the plan provides greater predictability in electricity costs during its main operating hours while aligning power procurement more closely with its actual consumption profile.

The partnership reflects COREnergy’s approach to providing more flexible electricity solutions based on how businesses operate. Through tailored plans such as the Sunshine Plan, COREnergy helps manufacturers gain greater control over energy costs while supporting more efficient day-to-day operations.
